Instructions on how to set the Name and Title for each active project your working on

Before going into the instructions on how to setup these fields to print each time you print a timesheet, I should point out that you also have the ability to change these two sections of the timesheet once they are saved to PDF format by using Adobe Reader.  This can be done by simply clicking the mouse over this section of the timesheet to locate the cursor into either of these two text fields. At this point yourself or the client can change this information.  This ability was added to allow for instances like when the person is unavailable and another is signing on their behalf.  Another would be when you email the PDF timesheet to the client, the client might wish to change the details before printing to sign.

If you have an active project that you wish to print and you haven't set these fields then you will receive a timesheet that looks like the following:

The first point of call is the File menu which now includes the 'Project Settings' menu option.

Once selected you will receive the following dialog window

At this point you can select the project and set the Name and Title for the client.  If you simply wish to have the relevant area's on the timesheet display no values, then simply delete all wording in the field.

Also keeping with my new policy of letting the consultant know that the update has occurred to the server, you will receive a message stating this fact.

For the more astute person you might notice that the dialog box above has a blank section on the right, shortly this will hold a box which will allow you to set a static colour for each project.  Please don't cheer too loudly as your neighbours might think your finally gone round the bend. Even I have been caught out by the projects changing colours when a new project 'pops-in' to my active project list.
